What is SysTools SQL Log Analyzer?
SysTools SQL Log Analyzer, a powerful tool designed to analyze and recover deleted SQL Server records from transaction log files. It also provides a comprehensive view of the LDF file, displaying details such as INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations. With its efficient algorithm, you can easily examine and retrieve lost data from your SQL Server.
SysTools SQL Log Analyzer is atool that allows users to work with both online and offline SQL Server environments. Connecting online is simple; users only need to log in with their SQL Server credentials, and the software will automatically scan and retrieve all database data items and records. For offline connections, users can manually load the LDF file by clicking on the Browse button. The software provides detailed scanning information such as the number of records, inserts, updates, and deletes. Users can also save the scanned file as a backup in .str format, eliminating the need for rescanning in the future. After successful scanning, users can preview transactions performed within the LDF files, including INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations. The software displays this information in an organized manner, with the transaction, login name, time, table name, and query performed all visible on the right side of the screen. Additionally, the software allows users to rearrange the order of the listed items. Data recovered from the log files can be exported in three different ways: directly to the SQL Server database, as a SQL compatible script, or as a CSV file. Users can choose specific transactions or export all of them in the selected format. SysTools SQL Log Analyzer is a standalone tool and does not require SQL Server to be installed, making it ideal for forensic purposes. The latest version also supports advanced data types such as Datetime2, daytime offset, sql_variant, hierarchy-id, geometry, and geography for enhanced SQL Server 2019 and older versions. The software is compatible with Windows operating systems and can be easily installed on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, and XP.
