CompuTax is aincome tax software designed to streamline the process of tax preparation and filing. With its extensive functionalities, it is equipped to handle various taxation tasks such as income tax, TDS, service tax, ROC, and financial XBRL. Users can also generate profit and loss accounts, balance sheets compliant with revised Schedule VI, statutory and tax audit reports, and more. One of the key features of CompuTax is its PAN Verification capability, which automatically transfers important information such as name, address, PAN, TAN, depreciation asset details, NSC information, MAT credits, and more. It also ensures seamless carry forward of losses. The software also allows for effortless importing of data from Form 26AS for e-TDS filing, including TDS, TCS, Advance Tax, and Self Assessment Tax. With CompuTax, users can easily generate Form-16s, import data and calculate tax and interest. File transfer has also been simplified with the software. In addition to computing taxes, CompuTax also takes care of crucial aspects such as ceiling, deductions, set-off, and carry forward of losses. It offers a platform for income tax, wealth tax, and e-returns preparation. The software also enables one-click e-filling of returns. CompuTax is equipped to auto-pick intimation and letters received from the CPC directly from the user's email account, eliminating the need for providing passwords every time. It also offers automatic transfer of master data to the next assessment year. Additionally, the software supports importing of data from 26AS, TDS entries from CompuTds, balance sheet, P&L, and return form from CompuBal, and permanent information from the XML file.
